Not in this particular set, but I'm a big fan of Fassbinder's World on a Wire and have the excellent Criterion release.

Course not! I haven't watched about 3000 films i actually want to see.

I probably should put a after that sentence because I was being sarcastic – based on every one of his posts, it's clear michal likes his films with plenty of gore and sex, not that there's anything wrong with that!

I also own that release and consider it a brilliant film which I highly recommend.

Not seen any films that he's directed, but I did enjoy him as Magneto in the last few X-men films

Only 3000?!

Plus, if you haven't actually watched any Fassbinder then you can't 100% say that his films are not for you.

I love Giallo and horror not only for gore and sex but for suspense and fun

Can you honestly say they aren't 'arty farty twaddle'?

I haven't watched many of the films from the Arrow set myself so am not really qualified to comment. They are 'arty' in some respects though I'd say. However, it's a very loose term.

As for 'twaddle' that's purely subjective and could apply to any film from any genre from any period of time.

There are one or two of his films with Hanna Schygulla i'd like to get but don't fancy having to buy a box set for them.
