You would suggest wrong. it was cabin one. Closest to the office.

There are major scenes in Carlito's Way in a pool hall.

blood and black lace 4K UHD is going to be in 1.85:1 because their first release was in the wrong ratio of 1.66:1 so if you don't have or can't afford a 4k player then you're stuck with it, so i'm wondering now it's in the original ratio why it's not getting a new blu-ray release as well as the 4K version cause its need's it so people can replace it with the right version of the film.

As far as I could tell from the twitter posts there is a bluray only release, with the box and all the posters/cards etc.

Just a slight clarification on the aspect ratio. The film, I believe, was shot hard matted at 1.85 but in Europe it would have been projected at 1.66. So technically, it wasn't an incorrect aspect ratio, but it does cut off the sides of the image. It was just weird that they didn't include the 1.85 aspect ratio whch is how it would have been projected in America - 1.85 is the more aesthetically pleasing choice imho.

There is a standalone BR release.

Well it's the best lineup in a while.
Problem is most of the films I already own and not feeling the need to re-buy

I'm eyeing the the Psycho set but I do already have the first two movies. I think the inclusion of an uncut Psycho might sway me.

There doesn't seem to be any mention of the uncut version though?

I'd like the Psycho set seeing as i don't have any on Blu-ray and the sequels are surprisingly very good.

I'm happy to wait for a standard edition as once again all the new artwork is hideous.

The outer box with the silhouette is not too bad. The inner amaray's are dreadful but I guess they will reverse to original art?

I think that the Psycho disc will actually be the Universal one licensed for Arrow to use in the box set therefore it’s both versions of Psycho. I’ve already got that, and Psycho II looks more than fine on Blu-ray so while this is a massive release for Arrow I don’t really understand who the audience is.
