You realise that their number one aim of business is to make some money

Sure the sales used to be better, but now the products cost more money so that's going to reflected in the sales prices. Pretty much everything is £7.99 which is cheap, the ones you've highlighted all came out less than 6 months ago...

The Fopp/HMV sale is over now so you're probably safe, in my local HMV all of the 5 for £30 discs now have have 2 for £25 stickers on them!

Next time around those newer ones such as City of the Dead and Caltiki should be included.

I've seen it from both sides

I have been the business owner, where I have to make money to survive. Oh some occasions, this has involve literally having a 100% mark-up on the trade cost, which I hated doing, but the customer never knew anything about it

I have also been the customer, where the first point-of-call in a supermarket is the reduced and dented tins shelves and the near-to-date cooler things. I know the exact time of the day to go to the local Morrisons or Tesco when the reduced items are being put out. Why? Because it's human nature to try everything to save money

If you have money, they is fine. If you don't have money, tho, circumstances dictate that you don't/can't* spend a lot on things in the Arrow DVD/Blu-Ray sale

At the end of the day, tho, it's a handful of films. My life isn't going to end because I don't have a physical copy of 'Driller Killer' or 'The Tin Drum' and I bet Arrow aren't going to stop trading because they have not got £XX's out of me

Just ordered Pit and the Pendulum, Comedy of terrors and Five dolls in the sale.
Wasn't expecting to do that but decent prices and add a few reward points and everything's good.

I've just realised that my Vincent Price collection is missing Theatre of Blood... I might have to make an additional purchase now...

Just Crimes of Passion and The Burning for me.

Arrow's sales aren't as exciting now, knowing most of their titles end up in HMV's 5 for £30 deal.
