Nowadays, I find myself unable to watch certain things involving animals that somehow didn't seem to bother me when I was a kid. Probably because I was not aware that they were real... Horse tripping is one of them. Please forgive me if I already wrote this elsewhere in the forum, but when I was a kid I already found the elephant scene of the Stewart Granger version of King Solomon's Mines very sad. A few years ago I found that the scene is real (i.e. they killed the elephant just for the movie) and the other elephants gathering around the killed elephant, trying to get him to stand is just heartbreaking. I simply can't watch it.

So, in conclusion (lol sorry), the "censored" version of Conan is fine by me, too. Maybe even preferred.

I'm happy not to have any horse tripping too. Even some of the stuff that's not deemed cruelty to horses in westerns looks nasty at times.

Doesn't Conan punch a camel or did I imagine it?

Jesus getting the feeling that conan 1 is someone favourite movie at arrow.

As a side note I didn't mind the reboot too much. Just they had to write a screenplay for the sets rather then make sets for the screenplay.

It's odd that I can find information about it everywhere except in Arrow's website. I can't find mention of the set being released in Blu-ray, only 4K. I have no interested in moving to 4k yet, and have been expecting the day when they start releasing films only in 4k... is this it?

edit: found it in Hi-def Ninja: https://www.hidefninja.com/community...eo-usa.120144/

Much relieved!

You have to remember it hasn't actually been announced by Arrow yet.

Announcements are this afternoon at 3pm UK time.
