I remember during the height of the James Bulger scare in the mid-90's, one MP (whose name I can't recall right now) seriously suggested that all 18-cert films be removed from the video shops, until a collegue suggested this would have to include films like The Godfather, where upon the MP quietly withdrew his suggestion...

I think you're right Pete, I thought it was Mellor, but I wouldn't be that clued in on British MPs. Anyway, a crazy, hysterical state of affairs...

I knew that Section 3 list would derail this thread somewhat so back to Nucleus business. I think one of the best things about the Video Nasties set (and I gushingly mentioned her in my review) is Patricia MacCormack who gives excellent intelligent commentary on her selection of films. Does she appear on any other DVD extras, she's really terrific !
