That's great, thanks. It looks like a decent sale, and they are my favourite label at the moment. I watched Winterbeast the other night- it's a genius release and I cant think of anything else like it from UK distributors.

I've just been through their horror section.

I don't think i'll be getting anything as they would all be blind buys, mainly of movies i'd never heard of until seeing them listed.

Several have been released in the UK already. Of the ones i'd consider are Mausoleum (Saw it a long time ago on vhs and probably cut) and Satan's Slave, but i expect Indicator to release that soon anyway plus Dracula's Great Love.

The rest are obscurities and curios. Has anyone any recommendations for Gothic chillers or fun gore fests?

I loved Murder Mansion from them as a gothic film, but you have to pay through the nose for the Forgotten Gialli 3 set to get it. Dont Panic was a funny gory one. It has a guy in dinosaur pyjamas as the lead for the most part.

Dolly Dearest was pretty fun, but not that gory, and Fade to Black was really unique and interesting, but a bit of a downer.

I have Fade to Black on dvd and agree it's pretty good. I'll see about Murder Mansion. I have it on a poor quality dvd. I'll have to see what they are asking for those Forgotten Gialli sets in the sale.

The only one I'd disagree with is Massage Parlor Murders.

Sure it's bottom of the barrel crap, but it's also tremendously sleazy bottom of the barrel crap, and that't good in my book :tongue1:

Xtro 3 I downloaded onto my phone but never really watched it yet, maybe give it a miss,the second one isn't really that great but really not that terrible though.

Deathrow Gameshow has no redeeming qualities - not funny, not gory and no boobies. All pre-requisites for late eighties wacky type horror. Commits the cardinal sin of being boring too...
