I am one of those, but I don't know if it's something i'd re-watch multiple times - i'll end up buying it though. Had the bluray since it came out and the VHS before that

The way SS delay things i doubt you'll be purchasing Possession until 2025 anyway.

"A very special edition of this classic is in the works! Featuring our own new restoration supervised by camera operator Andrzej J. Jaroszewicz and Daniel Bird based on grading notes by Andrzej Zulawski, new exclusive bonus content and more!" Cue a radical difference in the colours that'll stir up vocal trolls on both sides of the fence for an ad nauseum debate on blurage |

It’d be interesting to see what the grade looks like because the current blu is very drab in an eastern bloc kind of way. I think it’s quite blue as well but I might be misremembering that.

The Blu's of Frontier(s) and May are duds apparently with dvd upscales used as transfers. Frontier(s) particularly is poor. Apologies for the size of the image but you might as well see it in all it's 'glory'. |

That is shockingly bad. I have no idea if anyone there does quality control and, if so, why they thought it was acceptable to release an obvious DVD upscale with a Blu-ray banner, charging up to £27.99 for the limited edition release.

It's a terrible decision considering the great reputation they have earned lately with some great editions and transfers. Only takes a couple of bad releases to make people think twice before parting with money.
