Have any of you ever seen any of the films in the upcoming BOLLYWOOD HORROR box set? Do the films feature any of the singing and dancing nonsense that you seen in other Bollywood films?

Yes, they do, and it's brilliant.

They're made in typical masala style, so they pack in plenty of everything - comedy (mainly of the weird/lost-in-translation variety), romance, music, action... but the fast pacing and epic run times leaves room for tons of monsters and horror stuff too.

I've never been into the Bollywood thing, but I'm a sucker for the wild side of world horror and I haven't seen a single horror film from India yet, so I guess I'll be in for the experience

Thanks for the info. I think I'll give them a miss then, since I can't abide Bollywood films. That is why I never got hold of the Bollywood horror DVD titles Mondo released some years ago.

Such a pity their discs are so expensive to import. A shame they never expanded to the UK following Blood of the Virgins release.
