The very first death in Cube is pretty memorable. The guy gets sliced and diced by fast moving wires, then slowly falls apart in little square chunks. It's original if nothing else.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch is my favourite of the Halloween films, despite its reputation. The scene where the kid dies in front of the TV wearing his mask whilst his parents scream and pound on the door is genuinely chilling. And then all the bugs come out from what remains of his head.

Hands of the Ripper. The last thing you expect, if you've been brought up on UK television, is to see Nurse Gladys from Open All Hours playing a lesbian prostitute. And then she gets a hat pin in the eye.

I agree about Hands of the Ripper, but surely this is the best death from it though.
