But to repeat the same scenario over and over and over and over and over again for the next hour was tedious.
The Dalek dialogue was pretty crap too :
It’s cold isn’t it?
THE DALEKS DO NOT FEEL COLD!
Would you like a sweet?
THE DALEKS DO NOT LIKE SWEETS!
Think I’ll wallpaper the bedroom when I get back.
THE DALEKS DO NOT NEED WALLPAPER!!
Etc
I know this wasn’t actual dialogue, but you get my gist.
And to think, we used to get Christmas specials like The Next Doctor. Seems like a lifetime ago.

Good job because the Sontarans have eaten them all!

It scored with me because i like Daleks. Loved their new guns even if they suddenly couldn't hit their intended targets. Replace Daleks with, i don't know, the Stenza, or whatever that blue fella was called in the first Chibnall episode and i'd have turned it off because i too don't like time loops. I thought Heaven Sent was crap, Groundhog Day too.

I think it’s quite a divisive season, but I really like season 22.
For me, Revelation Of The Daleks is one of the best Dalek stories in the history of the series.
I’ve also read that season 9 might be out next year too, which might fit in with the return of the Sea Devils.

I’m not a fan of the 7th Doctor era ( sorry Dem! ) but I think the Candyman is one of the most original, off the wall creations in the history of the programme.

I always thought Sheila Hancock was evil looking in The Happiness Patrol dunno why though:lol:

Yeah, really pleased if this is out this year. I agree about Revelation. Love it. I have my grumbles with The Two Doctors but there's only Timelash which falls into the not very good category.

It's being listed for March by the same foreign site that leaked season 17 and Galaxy 4.

I'm very happy. That's two of my top fave seasons out in short order (a nice change from when we were getting 18 and 19 out in sequence, two of my least fave lol!) A lot of the DVDs I have for this season were some of earliest released too, like Two Doctors and Mark (and Revelation with that weird looping bug), so definitely up for seeing these redone. :santadance:
