The Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) ponders the ripple effect of sugar in tea with cafe owner John (Joseph Marcell) during Remembrance of the Daleks (1988).

This ^ is one of my favourite scenes in all of Doctor Who's history.

Amid the prospect of two factions of Daleks fighting it out on Earth over stolen Time Lord technology the Doctor has time for a beautifully quiet moment of contemplation.

Gone is that zany madman from the previous season as Sylvester knocks it out of the park and shows what a fantastic Doctor he is.

The BBC have announced a newly remastered box set of series 1-4 + specials on Blu-ray for October.

If they've fixed the issues with the original Blu's then i'm interested. If they haven't then i'll stick with the dvd's.
