So with the news the Ice Warriors are returning. What's your favourite story featuring the Martian marauders?

Only five stories so it shouldn't be too tough.

The Ice Warriors
The Seeds of Death
The Curse of Peladon
The Monster of Peladon
Cold War

I remember the Ice Warriors, i will have to pick this one up.

The Ice Warriors, I guess. I don't think any of them are that spectacular, really.

And for me.

Although i do quite like The Monster of Peladon, but given the Ice Warriors are only revealed as the villains at the end of the third (of six) episodes i'll say The Seeds of Death.

The Curse of Peladon for me. Best of the Peladon tales by far. Though The Seeds of Death is a fine example of Ice Warriors behaving badly.

I think my fave Ice Warriors story is actually a novel by Dan Abnett called The Silent Stars Go By.

It's a lovely winter read.

it's for sale for the price of postage in hardback. Just one seller though. The paperback is readily available. It's a proper novel not one of the young adult series. It's over 300 pages and remarkably gory.

Hope you enjoy it. At least it didn't cost much if you aren't impressed.
