Doctor Who over the years: Episode quotes
Meglos – Part 1
The Doctor: He'd better not go in the sea in future. He's likely to get into deep water, you know.
Romana: It was hardly his fault that someone neglected to sea-proof him.
The Doctor: Quite. Can you remember where I left his manual?
Romana: Yes, of course. On the floor under the coat stand. Oh, I hope he's going to be all right. We're going to need him on Tigella.
The Doctor: Why? They're not hostile.
Romana: The plants are. Lush, aggressive vegetation.
The Doctor: You mustn't believe everything you read in books.
Romana: It says in the history books that it was the lush, aggressive vegetation that forced the Tigellans to retreat beneath the surface. You must have seen it last time you were there.
The Doctor: It was reasonably friendly to me. Mind you, it was a long time ago.
Romana finds the page in the manual.
Romana: Post repair test questions.
The Doctor takes the book from her.
The Doctor: Ahem. Post repair test questions. K9, can you hear me?
K9: Affirmative, (pause) mistress.
The Doctor: That's a promising start.
Meglos – Part 2
The Doctor: Hello there, I'm the Doctor. I'm expected.
Guard: I didn't see you go out.
The Doctor: What?
Guard: This is the second time you've been in here.
The Doctor: I say, you've got a marvellous memory. It must be fifty of your years since I was last here
Meglos – Part 3
Lexa: Even if this girl exists, it will prove nothing.
Zastor: And he won't even admit to taking the Deon oath and entering the Power room.
The Doctor: I think I see the problem.
Deedrix: I'm going to seal off the city. We'll search every area.
The Doctor: No, no, no, no, wait. Wait! Wait. There are three possibilities.
Zastor: What do you mean?
The Doctor: One, the chronic hysteresis. I've never been in one before but it just might have projected a time image of me. It's theoretically possible, isn't it?
Lexa: You'll have to do better than that, Doctor.
The Doctor: Ah.
Lexa: I think you're a fraud and a liar.
The Doctor: Well, that makes even less sense.
Lexa: Oh? Why?
The Doctor: Well, you see, I just don't do that sort of thing.
Zastor: And the third possibility?
The Doctor: I think what we've got here is a good old-fashioned doppelganger.
Meglos – Part 4
Romana comes out of the Tardis.
Romana: Gallifrey.
The Doctor: What?
Romana: They want us back immediately.
She goes back into the Tardis.
The Doctor: Gallifrey? Do they, indeed. Well, we'll see about that when we've dropped our friend off home. Unless, of course, you want to stay here and do some gardening?
Earthling: Maybe I will. I'll be in trouble back home.
The Doctor: Oh?
Earthling: I told the wife I'd be in from work in twenty minutes.
The Doctor: Well, don't worry about that. We can get you back before you leave.
Earthling: Oh, good.

The Faceless Ones...Coming soon from BBC Video.

All animated which is a bit rubbish when two already exist in the archive.

Amazon has pre-orders available for DVD - £14.99; Blu-Ray - £19.99 and Blu-Ray Steelbox - £32.99

So they've rush released a trailer now. Looks pretty decent. It says 2020 though which is disappointing,.

I still haven't watched The Macra Terror in colour.

Re: Faceless Ones. Wheee. Hmmm. Pfft.

Very excited about The Faceless Ones, and very surprised to get an announcement this early (wasn't Macra like October?).
I don't see the issue with animating the extant eps. I'm sure they'll still be on there as an option, but some people whine about it being jarring to go from animation to live action, so now they don't have to if they don't want.
They've obviously been going in the direction of FULL COLOUR MODERN HD etc, which many people thought meant stories not completely missing would be off the table. That's clearly not the case with this option, so it's all good as far as I'm concerned!

Doctor Who over the years: Episode quotes
Full Circle – Part 1
Romana: The Time Lords want me back.
The Doctor: Yes. Well, you only came to help with the Key to Time.
Romana: Doctor, I don't want to spend the rest of my life on Gallifrey. After all this.
The Doctor: Well, you can't fight Time Lords, Romana.
Romana: You did, once.
The Doctor: Hmm. And lost.
Romana: Well, there's nothing more to discuss, then. We have to go.
The Doctor: I'm afraid so.
Full Circle – Part 2
Tylos: Let's get out of here.
Varsh: We don't know what's out there.
Tylos: I'm not staying here. I don't trust her.
Romana: What about Mistfall?
Tylos: We'll go back to the Starliner.
Varsh: The Starliner is closed.
Romana: Adric, is there any machinery on your planet that could lift the Tardis?
Adric: How heavy is it?
Romana: Er, five times ten to the six kilos in your gravity.
Adric: No.
Tylos: Deciders' talk.
Keara: When Mistfall comes, the giants leave the swamp.
Varsh: The marshmen.
Tylos: You're trying to scare us. Are you suggesting the marshmen carried this thing?
Romana: Let's have a look.
But the scanner is still telling lies.
Varsh: That's not Alzarius.
Romana: No, its still Gallifrey. If the Doctor's theory's right, we'll need a local image translator to see what's out there.
Adric: Or we could just look out through the door.
Full Circle – Part 3
The Doctor: Tell me, Decider Login, why are your maintenance men removing a perfectly good optronics circuit? Tell me that.
They walk on through the corridors.
Login: I know nothing about these matters myself, but the manuals are thorough in their requirements.
The Doctor: At this rate, the preparations could take years to complete.
Login: Oh, generations, Doctor. We've no illusions about that.
The Doctor: Generations?
Login: Well, there's always something that needs to be perfected. A little patience goes a long way.
The Doctor: Yes, but too much patience goes absolutely nowhere.
Full Circle – Part 4
Nefred: Seek out the Doctor. He can teach you to fly the starliner. It is my wish that you all leave Alzarius.
Login: And return to Terradon? No, we cannot return to Terradon.
Garif : What if the Doctor shows us how?
Nefred: We cannot return.
Login: Why?
Nefred: Because we have never been there.

They've said it's BBC America who pay for them and they want full animations.
