Duncan Norvelle, now there's a blast from the past. I remember that lame "chase me" routine. Only you could come up with that, Ron.

I dont suppose you remember the TV comedy show he used to be on? The premise was they did their routine in front of a punter and had to make them laugh under a certain time. That's what I remember him from. The time line was the early eighties and it was on ITV at tea time.

The Young Ones deserves to be mentioned due to its place in alternative comedy history. Oh, and it was funny as f&@k!
Young ones and Bottom are like Monty python, doesnt matter how many times you watch them, you never get bored and just as funny 6/7th time round.

24 episodes of a US series is the same as all four series of Black Adder put together and double Fawlty Towers.

Does make you wonder why our writers can't sustain a comedy series for several series. Only Fools and Horses, Vicar of Dibley (which i've never watched), Birds of a Feather, Keeping up Appearances, Allo Allo and My Family seem to be the exception to the rule.

I really enjoyed the three seasons of The Mighty Boosh. Surreal silliness at its best.
