But, in all seriousness, "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" was a tremendous series and almost every series with a "weird" theme since owes it a debt of gratitude, especially "The X-Files", "Supernatural", "Special Unit 2" (another that should've continued), "Millenium" (dark "X-Files" spin off), "Grimm", and quite a few more.

BTW Anyone who hasn't seen an episode of "Special Unit 2" should really give it a try, I think that it is running again on The Horror Channel and is good fun!
