That article should be taken with a grain of salt It sounds like an American 'Daily Mail Online' news item.

The video clip in question was recorded on the 2nd day the game came out and a rare fan-favourite Pokemon emerged, obviously people are going to get excited. Some guys have been playing Pokemon for 20 years it's part of their life - you really shouldn't judge others for having a bit of fun.
