The results from the 2023 Summerslam Pay Per View:

SPOILER:
  • In the opening singles match, Logan Paul defeated Ricochet via pinfall
  • The big guns were brought out surprisingly early for the second fight, a singles match where Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar by pinfall
  • The third match of the evening, the 25-man Slim Jim SummerSlam Battle Royal, was won by L. A Knight when he eliminated Shaamus. The other entrants were: Apollo Crews, JD McDonagh, Rick Boogs, Otis, Ivar, Erik, Shinsuke Nakamura, Tommaso Ciampa, Cameron Grimes, Austin Theory, Santos Escobar, Giovanni Vinci, Ludwig Kaiser, Ridge Holland, Butch, Matt Riddle, Omos, The Miz, Grayson Waller, Karrion Kross, Chad Gable, Bronson Reed and AJ Styles
  • The fourth match was an MMA bout between Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey which Baszler won by technical submission. Now, I don't know much about MMA rules, but it seems that the match was permitted to continue after Baszler received medical attantion for a (kayfabe) arm injury
  • The fifth match of the evening was the first title defence where Gunther defeated Drew McIntyre via pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship
  • The next match was the World Heavyweight Championship which saw Seth Rollins defeat Finn Balor to retain the title, despite interference from Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio
  • Match number seven was a Triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship where Bianca Belair gained the title by defeating Asuka and Charlotte Flair by pinfall. However, as soon as the match ended, Iyo Sky rushed to the ring, cashed in her 'money in the bank' case, and defeated Bianca Belair by pinfall to gain the title
  • The final match of the evening was the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship fight which was contested under 'Tribal Combat rules' meaning... there weren't any rules! The match ended when Jimmy Uso turned on his brother resulting in Roman Reigns defeating Jey Uso by pinfall to retain the title

General consensus is that it was an enjoyable show, but all the outcomes were very predictable

The next WWE PPV is 'Payback', which is due to be held on September 2nd at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Val Venus' pee-pee has been chopped!

WWE has removed extremely controversial segment from Peacock; no longer part of the show / Sports Keeda

That was when he was using his 'Chainsaw Charlie' persona and Mick was 'Cactus Jack'

The last great match they had was the Intergender Hardcore match at the 2006 ECW One Night Stand event where Edge, Foley and Lita teamed up against Funk, Tommy Dreamer and Beulah McGillicutty

Blood flowed!!!!
