The only real 'wobble' for me was the James/Evelyn story: extremely pointless, I thought.

Other than that, I enjoyed all the other sub-plots.

Ah, I'm not to fond of James as a character. There's something about him that just makes him annoying... he was fine in the first couple of episodes though.

I'm curious about why Coop stays in Twin Peaks from now on as he's done what he was there for.

I really love this series, so glad I finally gave it a chance.

Yup, gotta agree with you there. Whilst some of the other sub plots do seem a little odd (not sure whether this should be a criticism or not really it being Twin Peaks and all) they were certainly entertaining at times. But the James/Evelyn story I found completely tedious (in fact I think it made me want to go watch Lost Highway instead) and like you say, extremely pointless.

Like we said above it certainly has its moments from here on in but I'd say it seems to lose momentum more than anything, now that the central mystery is somewhat wrapped up. As I keep saying though, tis worth sticking through to the end though

And, like you say, Ray Wise's performance is absolutely fantastic, especially considering the range of emotions his character goes through. The parts where he starts doing little song and dance numbers after his hair turns white never fail to crack me up for some reason.

Incidentally, Wise shows up in Wes Craven's Swamp Thing movie from the early 80's. Yet again he's quite entertaining to watch and I'd say the movie itself (aside from the terrible 'two guys fighting in rubber suits' finale) was much better than I initially expected.

I see you've moved on to Audrey Horne with your avatar Argentofan. Nice one!

Yep. Although I still prefer Laura/Maddy.

I watched episodes 17 and 18 last night and enjoyed them. The only sub-plot I don't like atm is Catherine's. I don't think James' has come up yet, haha.

Just finished the last episode. I can safely say that Twin Peaks is my favourite TV show.
The last two episodes were just as good, if not better than the first series. The last episode in particular was amazing. I thought that something was up with Coop but damn!
I wish we got to know what happened to the rest of the cast though.
