Yeah,I'd been looking at the Oz sets as well.
I see the whole lot are coming from Network.

The Oz sets are series three and four I think, which Network are releasing at some point this year.

That's correct.They were released by Umbrella Entertainment & are R0 as mentioned.I'll get the Network release of the surviving early episodes shortly.

I'm not sure how accurate this list below of missing episodes still is,but it seems most of the first series is lost.

Yeah, a good proportion of the black and white stuff is lost. Unfortunate really, the same thing happened with Doctor Who in the 60's aswell.

I bought the Network release of Mystery & Imagination & only two complete episodes from the first few series made by ABC survive.A real shame as it sounds like there were some excellent adaptions.

Been watching the second series of Callan on dvd.
Looks far better than the first set.
Funny how this is so engrossing,it basically revolves around Callan,his one mate Lonely,(whom he treats like shit!),his boss Hunter and a wannabe (Patrick Mower).Oh there's always some KGB baddie or Eastern block baddie,but it usually involves one or two sets and a handful of characters.

It's all in the writing.....

Great to see this at the start of every episode.....
