I've been trying to get into Angel, I love Buffy loads but Angel was always my least favourite character. My friends have all told me to persevere through Season 1 and assure me it gets much better! I think I only got about 8 episodes in.

If nothing else, it's worth it to get to season 4.

I was really disappointed that the DVD version of 'Smile Time' didn't contain a commentary track

Has anybody here watched This Is England? The series just finished for good over a week ago and I'm going to miss it.

What a wonderful bunch of characters. You wish these people were real so you could hang out with them. There was an honest goodness to them.

If you haven't seen it and you think I'm describing the Midlands answer to the Waltons - beware. This show is grim and very distressing in parts. I felt sick during some scenes, like I couldn't breathe and I was in tears in other scenes (not since I watched The Snowman aged 5 have I ever cried to a TV show).

Shane Meadows and his talented cast deserve all the acclaim they get and I hope to see more from them all in the future.

Some of the best acting to come out of the UK in a long time, Vicky McClure is a force to be reckoned with! That scene at the Sunday dinner table was very uncomfortable!

Great show!

I love Angel. I was hooked from the very first episode. I was gutted when Doyle was killed off early doors. But then along comes Wesley again. To me the second series is the best with Drusilla and Darla on the rampage throughout.

It went downhill a little during series 4. Didn't help that i didn't like the character of Connor much, however it was only a slight dip and season 5 was superb.

I really need to rewatch the whole series again. I could start tonight, it's far superior to Grimm which i'm only three episodes into but is getting tedious due to it's shit CGI.
