Be careful when looking for the German Blood And Black Lace DVD James, because the reissue isn't English friendly. I have just obtained a copy of the limited edition German DVD for £20, and that is what I call a bargain!

I wouldn't mind trading for the re-issue, be kind of a novelty to see it in German i guess for posterity, but i've never seen the film at all.

To tell you the truth I haven't seen it yet either. I've seen quite a few of Bava's films but somehow I never got around to picking up a copy of this before now. I am looking forward to seeing it for the first time though.

I suppose in the absence the the English friendly limited edition German DVD the next best one to get would be the US anamorphic reissue. The original non-anamorphic US DVD was badly cropped though, so that is one to avoid. I believe that the Australian DVD is a port of the US reissue.
