I've yet to see it myself. I ended up watching the old Anchor Bay dvd of Madman that I also managed to pick up for a pound yesterday and all I can say is that it was a bad move! Not the film I remember watching in the '80s, infact the most horrible thing about it has to be the so-called 'music' that graces the movie.

Yeah, I thought MADMAN was poo too.

HOUSE OF TEH DEVIL is excellent - really slow-burning with an impeccable sense of dread throughout.

Madman has a commentary track that I have yet to listen to that I hope will at least redeem the pound that I outlayed on it. I love the minimalist cover for HOTD. It is one case where less is most definitely more. I might even give it a watch tonight, thanks to your recommendation.

Ha it's a such a clunky attempt a mimicking a John Carpenter score.
