I've already got the blu ray but that seems awful quick to appear on Poundland. I'm going to be wary of paying out for any Optimum releases in the future now I can tell you.

It's very odd that Optimum's titles keep appearing in Poundland. I know many of the titles have been a lot less than good (hmmm, Gary the Tennis Coach, anyone?) but there have been some gems that have turned up too.

Incidentally, anyone not near a Poundland and wants to buy Vengeance (great film, BTW) it was just £1.99 on Play.com, last time I looked.

I've picked up about 12 Optimum releases in 2 different Poundland Stores this week. Some real good bargains at the moment. About time after the really poor last 2 months.

At Poundland today I found:

Spread (Optimum)
King Of The Hill/El Rey de la Montaña (Optimum)
Fido (Entertainment/LionsGate)
Legends On Stage - James Brown In Concert (Star Media)
and a single solitary copy of the cut, pan'n'scan Stax release of Witchcraft/La Casa 4/Ghosthouse 2

Nice. I picked up that King of the Hill - not watched it yet ~ looks pretty cool though...

I also picked up...

Sasquach Dumpling Gang
Botched
Unknown
Largo Winch

...all on Optimum :-) I've watched Sasquach and Largo Winch ~ can't grumble for £1

I really enjoyed Fido. Sort of Day of the dead meets Pleasantville.

Picked up 'Bagman' on Hardgore - absolutely nothing else (my local Poundland is pretty rubbish, though). I did see a lot of Optimum in a clearance bin in ASDA, though; not especially cheap at a fiver, mind you, but I wouldn't be surprised to see more turning up in Poundland as well if they are dumping old stock, so keep your eyes peeled!

I noticed my local Poundland was selling the Van Damme film The Shepherd.

Was that part of the Sony 'Fight Factory' series in the orange boxes? I've picked up quite a few of those in Poundland, some decent titles, but haven't seen that one.
