Always cracks me up how much they chat among themselves and fool around when there's a colossal queue of customers snaking around the store, out the door and into the street!

What is it about CEX staff? Seems to be a nationwide problem. Every store I've been to the staff just don't care, and will happily talk amongst themselves while ignoring the customers entirely.
My friend used to work at a CEX and said he was the same, usually he's a pretty polite gent.

I brought a handful of Bollywood films there a while back, Royal video or something like that, with dark maroon covers. None of them had English audio or subs even though they were advertised.

Gave them to a friend of mine who is Indian and who said his dad enjoyed old Bollywood films.

I didn't think they could get films past the BBFC without English options being provided?

Indeed. I found myself in there on grand opening day They had Carol Malone (tubby scouse lass out of Shameless...? Anyone?) doing photo n' autograph sessions, and getting on the mic for some very awkward prize giving - she quizzed one customer for a ten pound voucher "do you know who I am?" ... of course, the customer didn't

I grabbed the Hellraisers II and III and left as quickly as possible . . .

Completely forgot to mention that I picked up Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer in the Brighton Poundland. That's all they had decent enough to grab though, all stores have been pretty bad of late.
