They seem to be stocking the Dead of Night collection as well as the full Argento range here. Another 2 regulars are Dont Look in the Basement and Unhinged. (various labels for both) Dementia 13 has started to appear regular as well. I also noticed , and got, a few of the Smart Mark Video collection of US indie & deathmatch dvds as well. Not to many kung fu stuff, but a rival pound store has loads of kung fu classics but my knowledge (& interest) on this genre is nil so I dont know whats what. |

My local Poundland is currently stocking a lot of bad TV movies, second rate music documentary types and the Men Behaving Badly series DVDs. Some soft core porno stuff too.

I've had a couple of good finds at Poundworld (as opposed to land) recently, namely Beast Cops (HK Legends) and The Killer (HK Legends/D'Agostino).

I got a couple of flicks the other day: a pan & scan of Gordon Hessler's truly awful Shogun Warrior and the apparently dreadful Flesh For The Beast ("UNCUT!/ Music By Buckethead!") I feel another Shite Film Night coming up soon and was worried I might have to have watched Sickle again till I found these "gems". |

I spotted a few of D'agostini's western releases in £Land today; The Big Country, The Magnificent Seven and Pat Garret & Billy the Kid. I picked up The Big Conutry but not the other two becuase I already have 'em. |

Poundland Haul
A Poundland recently opened up in my town so I thought I'd have a rummage. Managed to pick up 3 from the 'Dario Argento The Giallo Collection' by Blackhorse Entertainment. Bird With The Crystal Plumage Cat O'Nine Tails Profondo Rosso 'Deep Red' The only other Horror film there, was Autopsy. It's one of the Brain Damage Film releases. I thought that was a good buy, anyone seen any of these? If so I'd like to hear your thoughts. I'm new to the Giallo scene. Cheers!

Re:Bargains At Poundland!
Hardly any horror on the Leeds shop, only one of merit was Deep Red. Ended up with Porridge vol 1 and 2, not very scary! Sent from my HTC Hero using Tapatalk |

Only things in my local poundland are cheap horrors I've never heard of and true life stories. They didn't even have anything recognizable at halloween
