I used to have Warner's old VHS release but can't recall much about the film.

The two titlular beefcakes were twin towers David and Peter Paul if i'm not mistaken and good 'ol Michael Berryman plays the villain.

"The Barbarians" is fun. Just don't expect anything connected to Deodato's glory days in content, form or feel.
'The Barbarian Brothers' are actually very likeable as well, in a dumb way.

I couldn't help but go back to Poundland yesterday for another pound spending spree!

And got:

Camp Blood II

Don't Ring The Doorbell! (AKA The Mafu Cage)

and

Flesh Eater (Bill Hinzman's - from NOTLD!)

Wahey!

And also some Halloweeny goodies -

- A glow in the dark skeleton
- Pumpkin carving set
- A bloody skull with a huge cleaver stuck into it
- A ball and chain with a decapitated and rather gory head on it! - so cool
- And a dracula costume for my dog!

I LUV POUNDLAND!

Ummm... I'm a touch jealous of some of the titles some of you have found in yr local poundlands. I must go back to the one near me and hope they have some new stock in. A few weeks ago I picked up:

Profondo rosso (just for the alternative cut)
carnival of souls (though i reckon its gonna be terrible quality, but at that price I cant complain)
the doll master (this is bound to be cak, but i couldnt resist the silly looking puppets)
and satans little helper, which i've wanted to see for sometime now, so nice to get it so cheap. watched it the other week and really enjoyed it, def well worth £1.

They will probably be the same as the old versions:

Demons is 1.66:1 widescreen (non-anamorphic, even though the pack claims its 16x9) and is uncut.
Extras:
Trailer
Behind the scenes of Horror segments

Demons 2 is 1.85:1 widescreen (also non-anamorphic) and uncut.
Extras:
Trailer
Behind the Scenes of Horror segments
Lamberto Bava short film

There is an older, hard to find uk dvd release of Demons which is cut but does contain an Audio Commnetary with Bava and Sergio Stilvaletti. It's in one of those big ol' slim plastic cases. I got a copy from CEX for £2.

Some goodies i picked up a £Land:

Live Feed
The Dead One
Not of this Earth
Blood Sabbath
It Came from Within 1 + 2
