I brought Vol 10 yesterday, as I have the Aussie volume 18 with the Freak's arrival and Vol 10 acts as a bridge to the Aussie Vol 21 I have. Really enjoying the episodes- just seen Joan giving Chrissie a beating. Shocking. |

I've just finished Vol 15 (Angel is deep amid her Stirring) - I'm really enjoying this era of the show... I'll get 16 and 17 as soon as i can. the time spent waiting between volumes can be excruciating and I can't bring myself to YouTube... Anyone know how many volumes are being released in total (UK sets of course) ? I heard it was 20, but i guess it's likely to be more... thanks in advance! JL |

She is quite annoying is Angel, but i do enjoy the trouble she's making 20 vols is good looking forward to the extra episodes and i've spent so much on the sets so far, it'll be good when i have them all and can start watching again... might skip thru the Maxine Daniels era tho JL |

Me too! and she went on and on and on! her mouth was always open and the constant YEAH instantly rubbed me up the wrong way... Meg would be a close runner up, but at least she was fun when she was hypnotized... Maxine had no redeeming qualities IMHO! so glad to be out of that era... i did love Nola tho, but Maxine's presence annoyed me too much to watch Nola's storyline too much, and that's the real shame JL |

the Nola "era" was way too short.

I'm just up to the bit where Angel has had her hair cut off by the women and the mutilated body of a police officer, who we subsequently learn is the son in law of Det Rouse, has been found at Ann's house. It's all building up to the kidnapping of Ann and Meg by Phyllis Hunt's deranged boyfriend which was the '84 end of year cliffhanger (although the episodes still have the 1983 copyright on them, I've noticed ) . |
