I like some Troma, but they're a bit hit and miss with their DVD releases of even their own stuff. From what I've read it seems their Toxie DVD's aren't complete versions. I might have ot have a dig to confirm.

I got the big boxset of all the movies and the cartoon series. Pretty sure that the movies are all the full cuts on there (the boxset is unrated and seems to be aiming for the ultimate collection for fans). I think the UK version of the first one has got a stupid amount cut out from what I've heard from other people. Guessing the UK copies of the sequels will have the same problem too.

and yeah bizarre eye, I kind of have been meaning to watch Combat Shock and Last Horror Movie for a while.

Although The complete Toxic Avenger boxset does contain the unrated versions of all the films, there is a longer japanese version of TA 2 containing 10mins more footage and extra gore.It was actually released in the last boxset,The ToxBox,but the new set contains the shorter version .I was really pissed when I found that out,so much so that I went and bought the toxbox on ebay and put the japanese version in the new set.Problem solved.

Hi guys, relatively new to the boards and delighted there's a Troma thread.
I'm a huge Troma fan and have a pretty decent collection.

Personal Favs are
Toxic Avenger series (can't wait for part 5!)
Tromeo & Juliet
Poultrygeist
Evil Clutch
Luther The Geek
Mother's Day
Rabid Grannies

To name but a few.

I've a pile of TROMA discs to wade through.
Those Toxie triple boxes are great value for money....

Yeah. The thing with Troma is they really are hit n miss. Mostly miss.
But that's kinda part of the fun. I have a huge stack of Troma movies to shift through and some I know are gonna be awful but i've vowed to get EVERY title (yep, I know how many there are! Gulp)

It usually stands that the Kaufman directed movies are the best but occasionally you get some good 'pick up' movies like Luther The Geek. It never seems to be mentioned on many Troma forums but if you are a Troma fan and haven't seen it waste no time.
Gory, fun and genuinely frightening in places. Inspired by Texas Chainsaw with a maniac who bites off the heads of chickens.

Always wanted to see Parts Of The Family.

Debbie Rochan is always great!

A Troma Blu update I found out about the other day:

They're planning to release Class of Nuke 'em High on their soon to be trademark 'Green-Ray' on 27/04/2010

Also in April:

Also, as mentioned in another thread their Blu of Poultrygeist should be out this month.

Also for May:

Should be in Green-Ray too...

I've never heard of Luther The Geek. Thanks for recomending it Schramm. I'll look it up.

Troma on Blu-Ray would be weird as hell.

I was personally a bit disapointed by Surf Nazi's Must Die. The plot and title were better than the actual film.

What's everyone think of Redneck Zombies?

I really liked it.
