Really glad to have found this thread discussion as I’m looking to find out the names of all the titles Warner Home Video Released under their Terror Vision and Beyond Vision labels. If you spot any that aren’t on the list or if you have the complete list then please reply.

Here’s the list I’ve put together so far from this thread and other places.

SCHEDULED BUT NEVER MATERIALISED TITLES

THE DEVILS
IT'S ALIVE

I remember when I found Soylent green in a charity shop still sealed after I had been looking for it for ages. What a day.

Ive never found a collectors pack in any of the videos that said they had them. Even when they were new and I was buying them from HMV or Virgin Megastore.

Hi Jon could you show us the catalogue.

Also im looking for the original cover designs for the Terror Vission and Beyond vision labels, rather than the newer ones although it would still be good to find out the names of any titles which were only released on the later cover designs. I think the later Terror Vision covers had a predominantly red cover and the Beyond vision Covers had the small Beyond vision logo at the top centre of the front cover and on the spine.

Thanks
Wilson

Wilson, when you say 'collector's pack' do you mean the selection of small B&W stills that were shrinkwrapped to the cassettes? If so I definitely saw some that came with Blade Runner. I'm pretty sure that these only same with very few of the titles. The images were smaller in dimensions to the tapes, had stills from the film on one side and info in the other.

Hi yes thats what i was talking about. Quite annoying that i never found any in the new ones i bought even though it said they were included on the front cover. Omega Man for example. Kept taking it back to HMV to change it but the replacements never had the cards.
Do you know of any films that are missing from the list?

'The Crypt Collection' didn't come with any Paul.
'Horror Classics' and 'Hammer Classics' did.

I still have the cards inside my Wicker Man vhs!

My memory of them is quite vague now, a lot's happened since then - we're talking 17 years ago!

Just a thought. When did you start collecting these? I ask because if you got into them a while after their launch it could be that the cards were limited to the the first pressings.

I see. I didn't realise that certain categories had them and others didn't. I do know that they didn't come with all of them - CAT O'NINE TAILS was one that didn't have them.

Yeah that was under the 'Crypt' banner and was one of the last releases along with a few Tales From The Crypt trios.
Tbh,I think these may well have replaced the three never released titles mentioned above!

I remember paying a fortune from THE CINEMA STORE in London for what I thought was a Terror Vision THE DEVILS.£30 I think.
At the time I didn't realize that it had been released under a different banner....

1998.Jesus,thirteen years ago!

Razorback was the hardest to track down on this label.
It took me years to find it,well Steve of the Film Vault,God rest his soul!

I still have it.That and the Wicker Man.
I bought that from Woolworths the day my wife went into labour with my oldest daughter! (If I remember correctly!)

There had to be a Wicker Man-related story in there somewhere!

My mate had that DEVILS tape and I borrowed it off him when we were at school. Definitely no older than 15 when I saw that but being the R-rated verision it was fit for kids anyway

Cinema Store used to really take the mickey with the price of their tapes - my mate, former member Tanzi, and I used to source stuff in dribs and drabs to sell to them around that time.

I started collecting them in the early 2000's or 99. Your probably right about the cards being limited to the first pressings. I never got any cards with my copy of the Wicker Man which is a shame.

Its annoying because the ones i want the most like Mad max 1 and 2 are very hard to find. Or if they are available their quite expensive. I'm looking for the Fearless Vampire Killers or the Illustrated Man at a reasonable price.
