You jammy sod!
It took me MANY years and shops the length and breadth of the UK to complete those 'Vision' collections!

Tell us more about sub-city radio Almar-what was that?
What frequency was that?

In terms of Terror Vision and was the SF one called Future Vision? Again at the same time I got a huge box (any VHS mailings tended to be monstrous) of both collections when they were launched for review on my decidedly odd show. It was a nice effort - I recall you got the trailer on the tape and of course a little special logo but that really was as exciting as VHS collecting got which is why the height of the DVD boom was so insane in terms of offering collectors a world of new masters, extras and more.

Again though Terror Vision, Redemption, Vipco (when they relaunched in the 90s) all had an influence on Cult Labs and the labels it spawned because seeing these collections racked up in the likes of Tower Records made them irresistible to collect.

The sci-fi collection was Neyond Vision. I bought the first season of Babylon 5 when they were released as part of the collection.

The telly programmes were the only tapes I never bought on Beyond Vision.

Bought TALES FROM THE CRYPT series on Terror Vision though.

Subcity Radio was the radio station launched by Glasgow Uni - still running I think. It always operated under a special licence which meant it could broadcast for a month at a time. It was past Clyde 1 in the high hundreds!

Did any other titles get a release do you know?
Dario Argentos World Of Horror and L Bava's Macabre are two that I can think of off the top of my head.

I think Bruno Mattei's Rats: Night of Terror was also released on that label.

Both of those indeed were. I remember then years later when Arrow Video launched - Macabre was one of the launch titles and Richard was saying - 'it never sold before' - but that was back in the days of VHS. DVD really opened up collecting.

Very true, Almar. I can remember being more than happy when finding out the tape that I had just bought contained a couple of groovy trailers.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but wasn't A Study In Terror and The Creeping Flesh two other titles included in their ( a taste of fear) range?
