Congratulations, Robert. The first up on your road to recovery is admitting your addiction!

Seriously, welcome to Cult Labs and to the official Prisoner UK DVD Forum -- there are plenty of other addicts around here and various threads for you to get stuck into.

Welcome to Cult Labs -- there are plenty of Scots around, including two of the moderating team, so you're not the only Jock around!

I've just reached the end of the disc six of series 5 so the next episode I watch will be number 153. Considering I haven't seen series 1-4, it took a bit of catching up but I think I've figured out everyone's histories.

Default Hi there!

Just popped in to say hiya.
I'm really enjoying the DVD releases and am eagerly awaiting the next one in June. I watched the show for awhile back in the nineties and had forgotten just how much I enjoyed it.

Welcome to The Labs, Skippy -- are you a fan of that Australian show as well?

G'day!! Pommy baaastad from England here! I first saw Prisoner back in the mid 90's, I was around 15 but back then they showed it at stupid o-clock in the morning, so could never fully get into it what with school etc....but even back then I knew it was a camply delicious cult that I would no doubt get to feed on at a later stage.

Then, totally by chance a month or so ago, I stumbled upon an episode on Youtube....i had typed in "pickled walnuts"....having just watched an episode of The Two Fat Ladies, who had used them. Episode 632 Part 1 was listed....I couldn't resist and became hooked. I wish I could have disciplined myself more and stopped watching from that episode, but it was too gripping!! Anyhoo I got through to see Ferguson jailed and then started from Episode 1 and I'm currently up to Epidode 16 and I'm loving it!!!

I've been trawling through lots of Aussie programmes at the moment and Skippy is one of them. It's a good trip down memory lane too.
Also I use it for a bit of rhyming slang Skippy - kangaroo - screw

Welcome aboard, Vinegarfits. I haven't seen the first four series but finished the fifth series last night and have seasons six and 7 to get on with!

I don't think I've ever seen an episode of Skippy but, as you can see, I have plenty of Prisoner to get on with! I like the rhyming slang, very good.
