Would you buy Mad Foxes if it was released by Shameless?

Have you heard anything more on this, Sarah? As I said before, Edwin Dietrich (of Jess Franco fame/infamy) produced the film and I would imagine that he would still hold the rights? That's just my theory, I know that trying to track down film rights owners can have as many twists, turns and red-herrings as a stabbing of giallos! (that's what you call a collective of giallos, right?)

The only scene(s) I think the BBFC would have any probalm with would be rape(s).

I honestly can't make up my mind, if the amateurish nature of the film make the rape scenes more or less offensive to me.
It's almost like if Benny Hill had made a exploitation film at times.

That's too bad, Sarah, but just another hurdle that needs to be jumped in order to get this to a larger public.

As for producer, I would of thought that it would of been Mr Dietrich as the first (and only genuine dvd release? Im sure that the Greek is a direrct port form this?) DVD release came from the Swiss company ABC and seeing how mr Diethrich is himself Swiss I assumed that 2 and 2 made 4.

Nevermind though, I'm going to go onto various other film sites and see if I can track anything down.

Well I've done some hunting about and the good folks at Lovelockandload have pointed me in the way of a certain Mr Morris (Why didn't I think of that? Doh!). If anybody knows who holds the rights it will be him.

I will report back when I know more.

I have the very nice DVD if MAD FOXES from Erwin Dietrich's own ABC label, and the transfer is sparklingly clear. But I would double-dip if Shameless provided a nice set of extras.

What I would REALLY like to see is an ARROW BOX SET of Erwin C. Dietrich's "Girl" movies (Girls with Open Lips, Girls Who Cry for Love, etc.). It would be a great companion piece to their Russ Meyer Box.
