I've seen about five of those and you'll be in B-movie heaven if you choose to watch them all over several days.

Some of them are pure MST3K material, with The Giant Gila Monster looking like an iguana walking around on a table with a miniature railway, bridges, houses etc!

Went out shopping in Paris yesterday and picked up:

- Rituals (Code red DVD)

Blurays
- Tenebrae (Wildside) - sadly i couldn't bring myself to get the Arrow disk after reading reviews
- Phenomena (Arrow) - package looks awesome
- Taken (FR Blu)
- The Dorm That Dripped Blood (Synapse)

Overall I was chuffed!

Yeah sure, but only in specific shops. The shop I went to is a boutique in a cinema's foyer.

This morning I sold my dvd of Arrow's City of the Living Dead on PlayTrade and paid about £2 more to get the bluray from Play. Just need to see about doing likewise with my dvd of Inferno (although that was a gift from my girlfriend so I'd feel a bit weird doing that) for the full Arrow bluray set

Cool

Just finished watching 'The Matrix' what really stood out on blu was the colour palette. The green tint was much stronger in HD, but jarred a bit with the blue palette used inside Morpheus's ship(but that's the point I guess). A few days ago I watched 'Godfather 2' and although Coppola uses yellows and golds a lot for the scenes with Pacino, he shifts to a much more muted palette with De Niro. And don't let the grain in the first minutes put you off, once you get into it it's a beautiful looking film(and better than the first IMHO) Although noticeable on dvd, this whole colour palette thing adds to Blu's advantages over sd.(makes a change from my usual anti-Blu rants) Gonna watch 'The Orphanage' on blu tomorrow, looking forward to that. Anybody here seen any of the 'Alien' films on blu, if so what do you think?

In the case of The Matrix, the colour palette is intentional as the blue tone indicates you're in the real world with the green used only for within The Matrix.

All four Alien films look great, though some have improved much more than others. I've yet to watch the director's cuts of the first two and four of or the extended cut of the third.

Picked this up yesterday at my local secondhand shop:
Awakening of the Beast (1970) (Donut)
It's not English friendly btw and it seems to be a port of the Brazilian dvd.
