I've not seen Chaplin either, but the Richard Attenborough documentary you can find on The League of Gentlemen blu-ray was filmed at the time of making Chaplin so there was loads of behind the scenes stuff and interviews with the stars. It made me want to watch it.

I can't remember much about Chaplin. It's been a long time but the only thing I can recall is how quick it went by for quite a long film. Suppose that must be a good thing.

New arrivals from Music Magpie. The only ones I haven't seen are Skyscraper and Wonder, and It's been many years since I saw Burke & Hare, In the Heart of the Sea, and Wonderland.

Planet of the Vampires dispatched. Arriving tomorrow. I'm on holiday so I hope they actually shove it through the letterbox.

It's a really nice package. I'm sure you'll be pleased with it.

As Justin said the other day, you even get a little extra book featuring the original short story as well as the art cards and full colour main book.

Obi-Wan Kenobi 4K UHD/blu-set arrived. I think the good outweighs the bad on this show. Yes, it's terrible writing when a child is hidden under a coat and no Empire folks can notice (despite being on full alert). But the returning actors give good performances and it's very enjoyable to get the opportunity to see a lot more of Darth Vader in action. Pleased to have a physical copy for my Star Wars section.
