Nice to converse with a fellow fan! Thanks for the recommendations.
It might be a good idea to bump that old thread as you say.

Likewise it is a pleasure to converse with a fellow Van Damme aficionado!

Cool

Wasn't gonna buy anything until the upcoming Shameless/Arrowdrome blitz, but got these on DVD for £3 each in HMV, Antz from Tesco also £3.

Really like Gran Torino, hope its not Clint's final acting role though.

Just got a £3 Vipco release of Soavi's Stage Fright. Saw some clips on the Arrow City of the Living Dead last night and wanted to check it out. The only one of his films I've seen is Cemetary Man, which I really wasn't keen on. But this one has a killer in an owl mask, so it can't not be good . . .

One of Vipco's better DVDs, different kettle of fish from CEMETERY MAN, but still Soavi in style, for £3 it's a cool buy.

Good to hear, it being my first Vipco dvd. I've always just assumed their stuff would be pretty poor quality - probably down to the godawful cover art . . .

£3.50 on PlayTrade. I've seen a few of you on here talking about these Mill Creek releases - are they any good then? 70p per film seems worth it even if the transfers are questionable. Any others worth getting?

Keoma and Four of the Apocalypse have very good transfers.

The Gunslinger collection is well worth picking up, as are the Italian crime films sets.

Big Guns, Mafia Kingpin and Crime Boss collections.

As with the set you bought, some of the prints are very good others are vhs ports. You can usually tell the good prints as they are in widescreen.
