Was in Burnley center this afternoon stood next to a bin in total concentration peeling Cex stickers off Blu-rays i'd just bought when this voice said to me "I've never seen an Inferno t-shirt before". This pony tailed guy in full patched denim (Think Nordy, but not as sexy) was stood there casually making conversation about the Motorhead shirt i was wearing like we were best mates. Rather than being in some sort of stunned silence i answered with "Inferno's my favourite album and it was the only time i saw them live when they played the Apollo with In Flames and Girlschool" We then discussed his patches including the Darkthrone back patch he had. The Wildhearts, Electric Wizard, Saxon, Bathory, 1349 and many more. When he'd gone i was pretty surprised i could actually get words out that meant anything as strangers don't normally approach me unannounced in the street.  |

If that was me I probably would of crawled into the bin with the cex stickers to avoid the interaction Honestly tho Im starting to embrace when that sort of thing happens cause it's not often it does around where I live and talking to myself in the mirror about albums doesn't have the same satisfaction for me

The new Darkthrone album for me is their best album for years. The Celtic Frost influence is strong in this one especially in Nocturnos vocals. When Fenriz does his high vocals it really works well on this record it just blends in perfectly because sometimes it can feel like it's just thrown in there. I got goosebumps a few times listening to it and i actually listened to it twice back to back which I haven't done with any album on many years. Great drumming great riffs it's all very cosmic at times.
