Awesome comp Masdawg! Being fairly new to this site and to the genre (at least compared to the very knowledgeable members here), I'm excited for a subject I know a little bit about.

This may be a stupid question, but for part one, the first question, do you mean the first Japanese horror movie ever or the first Japanese horror movie that set off the "J-horror" craze of the last decade?
