Cannibal Holocaust was made in 1980 by my reckoning, and appeared in a couple of lists (mine included) in the '80s thread.

I just go off IMDb's release dates, which (for the most part) are pretty accurate. I guess it's down to each individual on what release date system they use, although justin may want to clarify in case we have some spill-over from the '80s poll.

A fine list. Mine would be similar, but The Exorcist (1973) would be at #1, with Dawn of the Dead (1978) at #2.
