Ooh! Ooh! I just remembered a goodie! "La Cabina", "The Telephone Kiosk"

I remember getting in one night in the early '80s, a bit of a feat because I can't remember that much of the '80s due to intoxication, and seeing this short piece of mounting terror.

On IMDB:
The Telephone Box (TV 1972) - IMDb

You're quite right, indubitably, but have you noticed that when you're watching La Cabina time slows down because you're in that box with him! Even recently when I re-watched this film I could feel the rising panic.

Thanx for the mobile phone

I'll go ahead and say it should be allowed, I'll set the time limit to 30 minutes at the least to qualify.

My top 10

Nosferatu (Herzog)
Eraserhead
Dawn of the Dead
Deep Red
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Exorcist
Daughters of Darkness
The Tenant
The Wicker Man
Shivers

Left field suggestion - Even Dwarfs Started Small by Herzog - one freaky movie,a precursor of Eraserhead

Halloween, Alien, Suspiria and Phantasm lurking nearby - the problem with 70s lists is the sheer ubiquity of the classics 7/10 are lock-ins.

Great job on the 80s list btw, sorry I missed it.

ooooh good one. I might have to take that into consideration, though my thinking at the moment is that it isn't 'horror' enough . . .

I was reminded while online of 'Seziure' a Canadian horror with Jonathan Frid, it was Oliver Stone's first film, an odd, slow and strange tale about demons Martine Beswick and Herve villechaize, haven't seen it since vhs days, but is one for the list, for Herve alone.

Can of worms... you could start labeling so many films horror simply because of the subject matter. I like to go by the director's intent, not the subject matter alone.
