The Shout is fantastic, but it has a lot of competition within this particular decade - my favourite where horror (and cinema in general) is concerned. At least it's above The Driller Killer
Hey noone knocks Tony and the Roosters, not on my watch.

I didn't have a problem with them as much as the overuse of them... sometimes it felt like The Tony Coca Cola Film Featuring The Driller Killer.

Thanks B-E. Not sure if there's anything to add since i compiled it last year. I'll have a think tomorrow.

Putting them in order is a thankless task as each time i watch one it would take a step up the ladder.

It doesn't really matter i guess. I wouldn't want to lose any of them from my collection.

I've also noticed that I'm still yet to see the films I hadn't seen from your list from the old poll, Dem...

Hopefully more people will start to post their lists (or alternatively justin could port them over from the old poll?)

Anyway, some fun potential topics based around our own lists to get the conversational juices flowing and bump this thread a little...

An under-appreciated '70s horror film that more people should see:

Following their leader, they commit suicide one after the other, but things don't necessarily turn out as expected..."

Hidden gem:

Aline is understandably reluctant, so the sect’s heads design a series of events designed to break her down."

[Unreleased as far as I am aware but available to watch on the old 'Tube.]

A classic of the genre that every horror fan needs to see:
