I didn't have a problem with them as much as the overuse of them... sometimes it felt like The Tony Coca Cola Film Featuring The Driller Killer. |

Thanks B-E. Not sure if there's anything to add since i compiled it last year. I'll have a think tomorrow. Putting them in order is a thankless task as each time i watch one it would take a step up the ladder. It doesn't really matter i guess. I wouldn't want to lose any of them from my collection. |

I've also noticed that I'm still yet to see the films I hadn't seen from your list from the old poll, Dem... |

Hopefully more people will start to post their lists (or alternatively justin could port them over from the old poll?) Anyway, some fun potential topics based around our own lists to get the conversational juices flowing and bump this thread a little... An under-appreciated '70s horror film that more people should see: "A gang of young people call themselves the Living Dead. They terrorize the population from their small town. After an agreement with the devil, if they kill themselves firmly believing in it, they will survive and gain eternal life. Following their leader, they commit suicide one after the other, but things don't necessarily turn out as expected..." Hidden gem: "Laurent, a seemingly normal young man, is looking to join a witches’ sect that resides in a forest near his house. The only thing is Laurent’s wife Aline also needs to join the sect in order to complete his initiation. Aline is understandably reluctant, so the sect’s heads design a series of events designed to break her down." [Unreleased as far as I am aware but available to watch on the old 'Tube.] A classic of the genre that every horror fan needs to see: "Martin (John Amplas) sedates women with a syringe full of narcotics and then slices their wrists with a razor blade so he can drink their blood. Martin, who comes to live with his uncle and niece in the dying town of Braddock, Pennsylvania, has romantic monochrome visions of vampiric seductions and torch-lit mobs, but it is impossible to tell how seriously he takes them." |
