Johnny Got His Gun is my choice, as it's one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen. For those who don't know, it's a story of a man hit by a shell during WW1 who loses all his limbs, as well as his eyes, ears, nose and mouth. I heard there's a remake of it, which I may have to check out. |

Some excellent films this year! One that is often forgotten is a childhood favourite of mine Willard. Almost too many good options to choose from! I might go for The Strange Vice Of Mrs Wardh though, even over the splendid Bay Of Blood. Last edited by Gojirosan; 2nd August 2011 at 05:21 PM. |

Let's Scare Jessica To Death is one of the greatest horrorfilms from the 70's. If you haven't seen it your eyes will get glued to the screen by this creepy, psychotic masterpiece.

Lots of great films released in 1971 but my absolute favourite is...Tombs of the Blind Dead! |

I keep forgetting the films I put on my must see list for this year (which I lost) - this was one of em, I'm re-filing it under high priority . . .
