Thats a shame, I liked BCI! Thanks for the info, it sounds like a few interesting releasing companies are going the same way. Code red just shut up shop too and I was looking forward to getting my hands on their release of rituals.

As for savage streets... I actually kind of liked it! My pal (jammy barsteward that he is) got it off marketplace for 3 quid and honestly I did enjoy it. That said it would be nice to see someone re-issue their discs, they put out final exam as well, a ropey slasher i hadn't seen since the Embassy pre-cert vhs!

Think this would pass uncut now?

I think censoring the blind dead films in this day and age is menatal, I just ended up buying the us imports in the lovely coffin box.

look! its so lovely!!!

The sexual violence that crops up is a little nasty for sure but i've seen much worse on bbfc approved films (irriversable anyone). And as for the BCI discs...well I think they would have no troubles at all.... someone should buy up their back catelouge as they have some amazing transfers of some 'excellent' films.

(i use excellent in quote marks, because theres a lot of paul naschy stuff as well!)

The first one is really good, the second is slightly better, Ghost Galleon was a bit of a letdown but my favourite of the four is Night of the Seagulls because it has a much stronger story, better acting and the sacrifice theme really works.

I love them all.

I watched Seagulls last night, and Galleon a couple of weeks ago.

I watch them all fairly regular - you can't beat the sound of the horses, and the groans of the Templars as they hunt their victims

There's one stunning scene in Galleon where the ghouls emerge from the ocean.....

Did anyone else think that George Romero must've watched Ghost Galleon before making Land of the Dead?

I don't think I've seen a full episode of Doctor Who, so I can easily believe that particular episode escaped the attentions of George A. Romero and Amando de Ossorio!
