Apart from the classic original,I also enjoy revisiting New Nightmare and parts 2 and 3.

Four, five and Freddy's Dead (Which I saw at the cinema in 3D!) are very poor by comparison.

Less said about the remake, the better.

I think the second one is quite underrated. I have quite a fondness for four, it is pretty poo though. Five looks great but it's lacking and six is crap - like you, I saw that in the cinema too.

Best for me are the first, third and WCNM.

Totally agree with all of the above.

Am I the only member who likes the remake and Freddy Vs Jason?

Yep lol. Freddy v Jason was pretty throw away stuff but at least it did what it said on the tin. The remake was abysmal, absolutely tedious and considering some of the great mythology they had to draw from that is unforgivable IMO.

Wasn't overly impressed with the remake, but I like Freddy vs. Jason well enough. It's mindless popcorn entertainment, but I like that sometimes.

I've only seen FREDDY VS JASON and that was in the cinema... ten years ago. I did like it though.

My fav next to the original is 4. The Wizard thing in part 3 was just silly and campy 2 me. Love the bug thing in part 4. Gross!

Anyone else agrees that Wes Craven's New Nightmare is a lot similar to Mojica Marins' Awakening Of The Beast & Black Exorcism? That whole creator vs creation thing is exactly the same.
