An excellent serial killer film that builds up tension as it goes along. It could well be my film of the nineties.
Agreed, scared the shit outta me when I saw a poor quality pirate back in 1991 when I was 11 or 12, I seem to remember shouting at the screen during the night vision goggles chase scene, spot on adaption too(unlike Manhunter)

Although I think the film is great and has numerous memorable scenes, whenever I see or hear the words Naked Lunch, I always picture Nelson Muntz (in The Simpsons) walking out of the cinema saying 'There are two things wrong with that title'!
