Cloud, we are a rare breed, but we must spread the good word about MoT!!!

You are spot on (again) with your "saviour of horror" comment.

The shot of the Third Mother's Twin Peaks was also a beautiful shot.....

I enjoyed every minute of it, it was 98 minutes of FUN and it had everything I wanted. I'm sure that if this was directed by someone in the mould of Bruno Mattei or Umberto Lenzi then it would be lauded as a trash classic in the making. But because it's Argento it just seems people want perfection or else it's hissy fit time.
I really hated this flick - as my comments in this thread and my full review on Lovelockandload reflects but I think you're missing the point of those that felt cheated by the film, Cloud. I think if this had been a stand alone Argento film, people would have been slightly miffed with the way it turned out but because it's the concluding chapter of arguably Argento's finest work, it really grated more.

My laptop is playing up at the moment so do you mind linking me to your review? I'd like to read it.

My review is here: http://shameless-films.com/forums/sh...p?t=699&page=9

I got this for Xmas, and finally watched it the other night.
And apart from a few moments of extreme cheese i thought it was excellent.
It held my attention for the full 90 minutes and the gore scenes were wicked and had an awesome old school feel to them - very Savini i thought.

And for the record Crocodile is alright!....but it's no Alligator,THATS a movie!
