Default Grim (2010)

You've never seen chaos, corruption and calculated cruelty like this! Well, maybe you saw a little of it during the Dubya administration, like in the Abu Ghraib reports…

In the impoverished near–future, the United States government abandons rural Texas inhabitants like the Grim family, leaving them to their own devices and depravity. In perhaps one of the most brutally graphic scenes ever recorded on film, the parents Grim are annihilated in front of their nine year old son, Nicholas. Nicholas Grim (Christopher Dimock) is devastated by the loss of his parents and vows to avenge their death. You will not believe your eyes when you see where this seminal celluloid slaughtering surprises you!

Review

No joking around, Grim is really ****ing violent, but, if it really wanted to qualify as the "most ****ed up film of the year" as the back of the box proudly proclaims, it probably should've added some sex and gratuitous nudity to its healthy doeses of extreme violence. Oh well, if you're into savage torture and blood flying every which way, you'll probably enjoy the **** out of all the fingernail removal, savage beatings, splatterific gore and other moments that'll make those less accustomed to extreme violence on-screen be all like "holy **** make it stop." Eventually, it does end a little too quickly if you ask us.. but who know, maybe they're setting it all up for a sequel.
