Watched GOLDEN SWALLOW, I enjoyed it but it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, maybe I'll have to watch it again, i think I hyped it up too much in my head considering it's a sequel to COME DRINK WITH ME and is directed by Chang Cheh.

...and where is that music from?

Anyone know if any (or all, hopefully :P) of the Blu Ray releases of the Shaw Brothers films are region free? Sadly we don't have any region B shaw action yet.

I've got a few U.S. ones.

THE DEADLY DUO is region locked.

THE DELIGHTFUL FOREST and THE 36TH CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN are both region free.

I haven't checked THE HEROIC ONES or BROTHERS FIVE yet but as they are on the same label as DELIGHTFUL I presume they probably are.

Am i to assume that Media Blasters offshoot label Tokyo Shock are now issuing their Shaw Bros. output on the new HD format?

I've got the DVD versions but remain unsure if the same titles are heading to BR.

HEROIC ONES and BROTHERS FIVE are region free too!! Found out all the releases from that label are. Very happy.

Watched GANG MASTER, for some reason during the first 10 minutes or so i thought that I wasn't going to like it much but it turned out to be fairly enjoyable.
