Kyle usually posts from it, or puts links up from here when a new release is out. I rarely bother with it myself tbh, all the info I need is right here

Ladies And Gentlemen, our Cult Labs over Facebook example.

Thank you very much Rik!

See, this is exactly what's its like with Facebook. Unless your fanS press some setting when they like your page, they only see 20% of your posts. Hardly effective.

Everything I needed about announcments, delays, I saw it on here, then a couple of hours later, stumbled upon it buried in my newsfeed.

Then again, I think Susan Boyle's powerful and sexy!Anyway, I worked it all out in therapy and like I said before, I'd rather get my arse kicked on here than get gushed over on Facebook. Nice comments are always welcome but in this business you have to know if you're hitting the mark or not.
You are seriously disturbed. Seek therapy. NOW!

To be fair Rick, I thought the Bay of Blood art was good (I actually think most of your work is great) but not properly indicative of the film's content. But I do get that Almar, Arrow and yourself were being experimental and trying new things. Besides, there were always alternate art panels to choose from, so I've never had a real problem with your work. Only Bay of Blood, as I felt it was misleading - but still a great piece of art.

I won't post any other food photos but my pizzas with home-made dough and sauce are amazing!
That would literally kill me. Stop posting all these photos of cakes! I'm diabetic and can't eat any of it! It's like watching porn...

It's a fantastic film, and I would love it on blu ray, but Scream Factory so far has been a predominantly 80's & 70's brand, with films with big cult followings, and I don't think that Session 9 really has that big of a following for a Collectors Edition (Which the person was asking for), or even that much to talk about for special features.

It wouldn't have a problem fitting in the Arrow collection, as Arrow have released more recent films in their collection, which probably don't have a following, like Blood Feast 2, Pervert and the Fantastic Factory collection.

But yes, it could definitely use a special edition anywhere, as it's a great film, but it probably wouldn't fit in certain labels.
Ah ok..see that's where I mixed it up got Arriw confused with Scream Factory. My bad on that one.

Actually that would fit in pretty good with Arrow.

I gotta admit I never understood Arrow releasing either Pervert or Blood Feast 2. Will I guess with the Russ Meyer set I can kinda see why Pervert was released by them.

Now as for calling me rude..tsk tsk..that was already dealt with an apologized for by me..so bad form starting it up again.

I've been to the Shameless Facebook page

They'd previously released those two titles under Arrow Films before Almar helped them re-brand into Arrow Video for the more 'cult' titles, so simply relaunched them under the new brand with better cover art etc. They did this with a few other titles including Day of the Dead, Deadly Blessing, The Funhouse, Martin, and Opera.

The more I hear about how closely cult labs and Arrow worked the more shocking it becomes.

I remember trying to find a list of old Arrow horror titles, to try work out what would get released next!

Hi Daemonia,
I've never, ever minded criticism. I don't actually believe art is subjective either. It's either good or bad. When Blood Feast 2, Deep Red and Island of Death went up here, people liked them and I knew I'd done a good job and when Inferno and Bay of Blood went up I knew I hadn't! If I did Cat 'O Nine Tails and Bird With The Crystal Plumage again I'd do them different too. Back then I was loath to use stills but looking at how popular The Dude's and Graham Humphries covers are I refer to photographs more now. I still don't exactly copy or trace 'em though! Of course, nobody here had a go at my actual technique (unlike my wife!) and as Cult Labs is by far and away the best forum to get an honest evaluation I shall continue to keep plagueing you all with my etchings.
Even though I do often limp away in tears!
