Yes, I was a bit baffled by that - three commentaries, a brand new 70-minute documentary, loads of other video pieces, an alternative cut of the main feature, isolated M&E tracks, a booklet... just what does it take to get a 7, never mind a 10?

Got the steely early courtesy of the Arrow stall at Grimm up north. Been steadily working my way through it and very impressed. I can only imagine the reviewer expected mathilda may to crawl out the telly Sadako style and suck him off.

I have to admit i'd pay extra for that.

Picked up both today-glad I got shot of the Scream Factory disc-the extras on this are incredible!
Again, cracking book-I didn't realize that the crappy Earth artwork featured a huge eyeball!

Nice reverse to the steely.

You one of these people who thought that eye was a spaceship?

Today? Pfft! Most of us have had them for 2 weeks.

[Blu-ray Review] 'Lifeforce' Has Its Definitive Release Courtesy of Arrow Video! -

"Arrow has once again proven why they are the finest home video company around especially for genre titles. In a time where folks are unfortunately downloading more and more, it’s great to see someone has given up the good fight. Special editions like the ones Arrow consistently spits out, give collectors and fans all the more reason to pick up physical copies. The care given to not only the transfers and special features but as well as the packaging is simply a wonder to behold. As in the case of Lifeforce, this 2-disc Blu-ray set is hands down, the definitive, last word on Hooper’s bonkers yet totally compelling slice of sci-fi epicness. To date, there is nothing quite like it and I’m consistently taken aback by the film’s go-for-broke spirit. I can’t recommend the film and its Blu-ray any higher. One of the finest home video titles of the year."

Lifeforce review - Blu-ray

"Arrow Video has done it yet again, pulling out all the stops for this hi-def celebration of Tobe Hooper's schlocky sci-fi-horror spectacular"

Standard edition = £17.99, steelbook = £23.99 (I think), I'm afraid.
