might sound a dumb question - but do these films have any eye-based gore? (i know there are some fulci films that actually don't!)

my girlfriend loves horror and has no problem with gore at all, but has a genuine phobia of stuff happening to eyes!

the 'macabre' showing was great and i'd hate to miss/not support this...

I have to admit that stuff happening to eyes freaks me out too! Even my wife putting her contacts in makes me feel ill!

Anyone else going to the Edinburgh event?

yes, i think most people have a weird reaction to it, and there are all kinda psychological theories (i think freud's is basically eyes=testicles...).

anyway, anyone know? i know its an off-chance that they don't...

Very fake looking though... even the eyelids and skin come off when an eye gets gouged!

Adds to the charm though!

Right then! So we are having a mega giveaway on the Saturday evening including a VERY special and VERY valuable prize that I am not giving away lightly - however any Argento obsessives better start researching the great man if they want to win this as it is a true one off and I do not want this going to anyone but the biggest and most loyal fan.

And I am saying no more.
